MARK BAIN

Chief Executive Officer | Caribbean Renewable Energy

Born and raised in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Mark Bain is a renewable energy and construction executive with more than 25 years of experience across commercial construction, utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and major infrastructure projects.

His renewable-energy experience includes more than 400 MW of utility-scale solar and a verified BESS portfolio of at least 1,289 MW and 4,772 MWh across Canada, the United States, and Chile.

Mark holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and has completed specialized training in solar energy, photovoltaic systems, advanced PV design, NEC requirements, microgrids, and battery-based energy systems.

Throughout his career, he has worked across project development, budgeting, contract negotiations, construction management, commissioning, and project turnover, collaborating with utilities, developers, engineers, manufacturers, contractors, and government stakeholders.

As CEO of Caribbean Renewable Energy, Mark brings his international renewable-energy and BESS experience to The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean, with a focus on delivering reliable, scalable, and commercially practical clean-energy solutions.

His leadership is grounded in integrity, accountability, innovation, quality, and execution.
